MV Columbia
The MV Columbia is a roll-on/roll-off, double-ended ferry. It sails across Upper Arrow Lake, 49 km South of Revelstoke, BC, on Highway 23, between Shelter bay (West side) and Galena Bay (East side).
It sails from Shelter bay 5:00 am – 12:00 am and from Galena Bay 5:30 am – 12:30 am. Crossing time is approximately 20 minutes and the capacity is 80 vehicles – 250 passengers.
Refueling: Effective May 18, 2022, the MV Columbia will be fueling on Wednesdays at 8:45 am. Please expect sailing delays.
Dangerous Cargo: The following days and times will be reserved for dangerous cargo with the exception of the days that may fall on a statutory holiday: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 2:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. Sailing restrictions with dangerous cargo: When explosives are carried, maximum of 12 passengers; when other dangerous cargo is carried; maximum of 25 passengers.
